The hotel is located very close to all main attractions, which is great. The décor is modern, quirky and so might not be to everyone's taste. Overall very clean, rooms are attended daily. However I missed a proper wardrobe - the room only had 3 hooks on the wall with 5 hangers for two of us. No shelving units, no additional storage space to keep your staff. There is only a glass shelve next to a bed, and not very big too. There is no fridge and the bathroom was rather small without any ventilation system. What was cool - the motion sensors waking up LED lights underneath the bed and inside the glass shelves edge. Mattress was very soft, which we didn't like as it was not very comfortable. But some people may prefer it over a hard mattress. The breakfast costs £ 12.50 per person, which you might think is not too bad, but the same food was served every single day-not even a change between scrambled and fried eggs for example. The breakfast was a bit of a downturn. However the staff is extremely nice, helpful, polite and creates a positive, welcoming atmosphere. Overall happy with the stay. This is more of a 'express' hotel, but the stay was generally very pleasant.

Great location, less than 5 minutes to the Main Street and shambles Room was on the smaller size but modern, fun sensor lights on the bed (which was very soft and very comfy), fluffy pillows, very clean, oh wnd Yorkshire tea! The bar had a good selection (we even got a free welcome cocktail), board games available to play, pool and table football. Again area was clean and modern, we found ourselves wanting to come back to the hotel to hang out. The bar has good deals on top including student discount. Free Wi-Fi, excellent air-con, just an overall good experience. We absolutely loved our stay, and would happily come back.

The room was adequate. It could have had a easier way to hang damp towels, the towel rail was above the toilet a bit inconvenient and seemed very high up. The space to hang coats and clothes. It might have been better to have had the coat hook and coat hangers further apart and not so highly placed on the wall. Could have been better to leave the bin in the bedroom area and not the bathroom. The beds, the cleanliness of the room was excellent. The staff were all helpful and full of enthusiasm. Thank you we had a wonderful three days stay.

Very central and easy to find, the staff were really polite and super helpful which was super. We had our pup with us and she was greeted like the celeb we tell her she is - the bedroom had nothing special for dogs but it was great to know that this was a dog friendly hotel where she was very welcome (she loved the lifts!!). The bar had a nice vibe and we enjoyed some drinks and had we had longer we’d certainly have visited again or taken part in the quiz!!

From the warm welcome at reception to the comfy bed at night. It has everything you need. Plenty power points (including one at the mirror), a real hairdryer (not one stuck inside a drawer). Strong shower, amazing pillows. The whole stay was excellent. We didn’t opt for breakfast, but it looked great. The whole atmosphere is chilled and there is plenty of room to relax at the bar, even play board games that are provided if you wanted.
